Hey, I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to Beyond the Coast.
I’m Enikő – a passionate traveler, storyteller, and lover of all things coastal.
This blog was born from two things I deeply love: exploring the world and helping others. I’ve always been the one planning trips, researching hidden gems, capturing the beauty of the moment, and writing about it with joy. For me, the ocean isn’t just a destination – it’s a feeling. A sense of freedom, wonder, and peace.
Every time I stand at the edge of the sea – whether it’s the Atlantic breeze in Portugal or the turquoise waters of Zanzibar – I feel alive. And I want you to feel that, too.
Beyond the Coast is more than a travel blog.
It’s a curated space for dreamers, explorers, and everyday people who crave something deeper than just a vacation.
You’ll find:
- Practical travel tips that make your journeys smoother
- Itineraries designed for discovery and inspiration
- Honest travel stories from real experiences
- Packing guides and what to expect before you go
- Local food finds and culture-rich insights
- Help with planning your own dream trip, if you need it
I’ve traveled with my family, close friends, and my partner – and while I haven’t explored solo (yet), it’s definitely on my list. I believe travel is about connection – to places, people, and parts of ourselves we don’t always see in daily life.
Zanzibar especially left a mark on my soul. Its beauty, rhythm, and warmth changed me – and that’s what I hope to pass on through this blog:
Meaningful, colorful, inspiring journeys.
Why “Beyond the Coast”?
Because for me, it’s not just about reaching the shore – it’s about what comes after.
The peace you feel, the moments you remember, the cultures you carry home with you.
I created this blog to capture those feelings, and to help you experience them, too.
So whether you’re planning your first tropical escape or your tenth – I’m here to share everything I’ve learned (and am still learning). Let’s explore the world, one shoreline at a time.
Thanks for being here. I hope you’ll stay awhile.
You can connect with me on Pinterest, Instagram, or via email – I’d love to hear from you!
